Studio Oxygen
Studio
Oxygen was created for the member in mind. There has been a lot
of love, compassion and devotion involving the unique set up of
Studio Oxygen. It is the only fitness facility in Canfield. A
wide variety of classes are offered for all levels of fitness.
The classes are instructed by experienced and inspiring instructors.
Baby-sitting is offered during most of the class times (exception
6 & 7 a.m. classes).
Yoga
is finally catching on in our area. The benefits are amazing!
Yoga improves and transforms our physical, spiritual and mental
well-being. Yoga is for everybody.

What
is Yoga
Yoga
is a spiritual and physical practice that requires discipline
and helps unify your body, mind and spirit. You will feel at peace
at the end of a yoga class because there is a natural realignment
of your body which leads to a natural realignment of your perception
of life and who you are. You'll feel calm and balanced.

Etiquette
Arrive ten minutes early and master your stillness
Remove your shoes and socks prior to entering the yoga
room. Clothing should be comfortable
Bring sticky mat, towel and water. Mats are available for
sale or rent
Practice is best on an empty stomach. Refrain from eating
1-2 hours before class
Please refrain from wearing body fragrances
Inform the instructor of any health conditions
If you leave early, please exit before the class takes
Savasana (final relaxation)

Meet
the Owner
Marianne
Hritz, founder of Studio Oxygen has been teaching fitness
classes and personal training since the early 90’s. Certified
since 1993 and has had extensive training. She started practicing
yoga in 2000 and started her training through Yogafit in 2003.
She is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and holds
the highest degree of integrity and professionalism.
Other
certifications & trainings
Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Pilates Instructor, Certified
Fitness Instructor, Certified Kickboxing Instructor. Over 250
training hours through Yogafit. (5) day Iyengar Intensive, Baron
Baptiste Intensive, Yoga Journal Conference. (40) Hour Bally's
aerobic training, (24) hour AFAA Fitness training, Cycling Training,
Aquatics, Thomas the Promise Kickboxing, Plyometrics, intensive
training with Ana Forrest, workshops with Rolf Gates, Cyndi Lee,
Ally Hamilton, and Bryan Kest and various
step and resistance workshops.
Personal
Marianne
is married to Michael Hritz and together they have (3) children.
She also has (2) daughters who take an active part in the Studio.
Marianne moved back to this area from Florida in 1998 to be with
her mother, Joanne Kernan, who passed away in 1999. Her father
and his wife reside in the area. Marianne has a great support
system from her family, especially her sister and best friend,
Jeanne and her (4) brothers.
